A complete line of proximity card readers.
Highpower Security proximity card readers are convenient, fast, and simple to use – you just hold your proximity card in front of the reader and your code is instantly and securely transmitted from the card to the proximity reader via radio signal. All proximity readers are weatherproof and have no moving parts to wear or break.
All “Wiegand-interface” proximity card reader models are used in conjunction with a door controller. Some proximity reader models also have ABA outputs for interfacing with mag-stripe systems.
Proximity Cards
Highpower Security proximity card readers can read their own low-cost proximity cards or can be optionally be ordered with compatibility to other brands of proximity cards including AWID or HID. AWID and HID compatible proximity readers can recognize AWID or HID cards in conjunction with the standard P-Series card issued by Highpower.
Ranger Tags
Ranger tags are similar to a remote control, offering press-button operations for Highpower Ranger Readers as well as all of our standard proximity card readers. Push button activation allows for longer-range signal transmission, though readers also provide proximity activation for shorter distance usage.
