Highpower Mail Privacy Policy
Highpower Mail does not collect, store or share any of your personal data. Your email goes directly between your Mac and your email provider, and we never see it.
Who we are
Highpower Mail is published by Highpower Security Products LLC, Meriden, Connecticut. This policy covers the Highpower Mail app for macOS. For this website, see our website privacy notice.
Information we collect
None. Highpower Mail has no user accounts with us, no analytics, no crash reporting to us, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. We do not run any server that your mail, contacts or settings pass through.
How the app handles your information
- Email: the app connects directly from your Mac to the mail servers you add, such as Microsoft 365, Gmail, iCloud Mail or any IMAP or POP3 server, to download, send and organize your mail.
- Passwords and sign-in tokens: stored only in your Mac's Keychain, protected by macOS.
- Microsoft accounts: you sign in on Microsoft's own sign-in page. The app receives an access token from Microsoft and uses it only to reach your mailbox and, if you turn the option on, to keep your mail rules on Microsoft's server.
- Mail, contacts, rules, templates and settings: stored on your Mac inside the app's private sandbox. Backups you make are saved only where you choose.
- Imports: mail archives and contact files you import are read on your Mac and are not sent anywhere.
Third parties
Your messages are handled by the email providers you choose to connect, under their own privacy policies. Apple handles App Store purchases under Apple's privacy policy. We receive no personal information from either.
Deleting your data
Remove an account in Highpower Mail's Settings, or delete the app, to remove its data from your Mac. Mail kept on your provider's server is controlled by that provider.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date below.
